Authentication & Authorization

Each EC Data Platform offering (Cloud-Accelerated, Cloud-Agnostic, Linked Data platform) is implemented with appropriate security measures regarding authentication and authorization. For both public-internet access and private access to offered services appropriate credentials are required. Regular rotation of secrets is required by DIGIT.

Encryption

Within the EC Data Platform offering, both data at rest and data in-flight is encrypted. The encryption procedure followed is either specific to the service (e.g., AWS S3 data encryption) or AWS KMS is leveraged for encryption.
